I'm old.

thanks mark, for making us all laugh!

gotta be the shoes...

Ever have those days when you are fully aware of your age? Brianna stepped out of her house today and I was just in shock. How is it possible that you are a senior already... you see, I used to babysit Brianna and her brother. Unreal!

Enjoy the pics and remember... time flies when you are having fun!

i don't post usually from my senior sessions or portrait sessions .. but i figured i could start here and there... so here is stephanie. She was great about letting me drag her all over town and she endured alleys and mosquitos for these shots. Thanks Stephanie!!!

karen and cory- holding back the rain

how cool is this guest book?

The rain held off for the most part, a few sprinkles during and after the ceremony, but we battled muddy shoes and had a great time! Karen and Cory were married under a tent at Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor right next to the barn. I guess the ducks really wanted to be invited into the tent, because they squawked and squawked during the ceremony. I am sure they were giving their blessing!

kristie and bo 07.11.08

7/11 ... What a great anniversary date, huh? Krisitie and Bo got married at Barton Hills on Friday evening and what a fun group it was!

I have a feeling this wedding will be in the future....

Dillon had enough of the pictures and was pleading with his mom.

this was by far my favorite moment of any wedding i have ever done... when Dillon saw his mom for the first time, he was awe-struck, then followed it up with the most geniune " oh , mommy, don't you look beautiful?"

gone country.... elise and jon!

The Murphy siblings

Elise and Jon were kind enough to let us drag them out in the field for these shots.

We tried to take a lot of pictures before everyone got there, but the midday light is tough, but not as tough as this tractor! :)

I love this one, it reminds me of one I took of Elise's brother and sister in law at their wedding a few years ago... this was right after the ceremony and you could sense the relief! :)

All the married Murphy gang!

The Groom!

This week it was Elise's turn to be the bride ( she was maid of honor the week before. ) Elise and Jon were married on Saturday at her childhood home in Chelsea. It was the quintessential summer wedding, fresh local flowers, pink lemonade, gorgeous farm scenery enveloping the yard, and dancing until midnight!

Here are some of my favorites...
