Both Emily and Chris play Disc Golf ( Ultimate Frisbee... is it the same thing?) I am sure I'll hear someone telling me the proper term, but for now enjoy my first bridal party to play frisbee at the reception ( and the bride still wearing heels, what a champ! )

Dale Fisher's property was almost as beautiful and wonderful as this couple , Emily and Chris who were married there on Saturday.

the rain held off, and we had a great day! the ceremony was held in Royal Oak followed up by one of the best backyard receptions I have ever seen!

HOW FUN! corrine and aaron

Last Sunday , I had fun shooting in a new location introduced to me by Corrine and Aaron who are getting married in September.This is the spot where Aaron proposed to Corinne, how sweet is that? If I laugh half as much as these two in September , we are guaranteed to have a great time at the wedding ( not to mention, the camera loved these two! )

IN MEMORY OF MR. ROBERT SIEFERT

Mr. Siefert, my father's best friend and life long friend of the family, lost his battle this week. Please remember his five daughters, wife Betty and numerous grandchildren and friends in your prayers. He loved his family , his dog , Michigan and Purdue football, he liked playing golf, he liked his sandwiches plain, he loved Christmas, he had a big laugh and a big heart. Most of all , he was a true friend my father, and for that, I am very grateful. Mr. Siefert, you will be missed.

technology is not my friend

Hi all,
1. the website is still pretty minimal, and pretty sad at this point. as many of you heard, the company that made the website lost the entire contents and no longer offers the same one-- therefore kat foley photo gets a whole new look! thanks for your patience!

2. i have a main computer that does all my edits and sizing ( for everything, including the new website) and then I have a tiny little laptop i bring to weddings that isn't capable of handling the photo side of things as well. the main computer died over the weekend thus putting everything behind schedule. I back up all my photos and I know I didn't lose any photo shoots,( crossing my fingers) . i had just backed up most things.

i want to thank my fabulous clients for their patience! much much much appreciated!

WEB SITE DOWN :(

The company I use to create and host my website informed me today that all my data from my previous website was been lost. ( Don't worry, your photos are safe, it is just the actual website and information that is gone and has to be re-done.) They are a great company, and won't leave me in the lurch for very long....( cross your fingers for me... )

If you were trying to book a wedding (or child/family photo shoot ) at the time, I am happy to meet with you and show you my work for the time being.

They no longer have the same website, so kat foley photo will be getting a new look. ( Besides, you were getting tired of the old site, right? ) Hope you like it.

Any information I get , in terms of when it will be back up and running, I will post here.
