Meet Amanda and her new husband!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO MADE THIS DAY POSSIBLE...

I have several talented photographers who shoot with me as weddings, all successful in their own right , yet they give up their Saturdays to help me provide amazing images of weddings and I am forever grateful..

Some of these, but not all are ..
Nicoleladonne.com
( how can you not love her work?)
pierrewphotography.com

and two new faces to second shooting with me are-

dustinfrancis.com ( I was his student teacher.. I think I am getting old. He has tons of energy! )

and Mishelle from Bliss Photography at blissbymishelle.com (I was very close to naming my own studio that when I started in 2001.. she has good taste and great images! )

But most of the time, the person keeping me sane and being an all around ROCK STAR shooter for me is Amanda Mae Lauchu. ( She was Hancock until she and Rico got married on May 24) .
She knows exactly what brides are looking for because she just was one!
I'll link to her site soon, but here are some pics from her wedding .
Here are a few from her fabulous wedding..
her great little dog, Starbuck.

at the park

Look at that twirl, she has mad skills...

congrats emily and chris!

Here is the sneak peek of Saturday's wedding..
My first wedding with llamas..

Or gifts in a canoe...

Both Emily and Chris play Disc Golf ( Ultimate Frisbee... is it the same thing?) I am sure I'll hear someone telling me the proper term, but for now enjoy my first bridal party to play frisbee at the reception ( and the bride still wearing heels, what a champ! )

Dale Fisher's property was almost as beautiful and wonderful as this couple , Emily and Chris who were married there on Saturday.
If you have never seen Dale Fisher's photographs, you are missing out on one of Michigan's most talented photographers, and if you've never seen his Eyry of the Eagle reception center in Grass Lake, MI you are missing out on a great place for weddings!

Curious to know whose wedding is coming next.. say, July 5th...
here they are , Elise and Jon. Bridesmaid one week, bride the next!

HOW FUN! corrine and aaron

Last Sunday , I had fun shooting in a new location introduced to me by Corrine and Aaron who are getting married in September. This is the spot where Aaron proposed to Corinne, how sweet is that? If I laugh half as much as these two in September , we are guaranteed to have a great time at the wedding ( not to mention, the camera loved these two! )

Here is my sneak peak. Enjoy!

IN MEMORY OF MR. ROBERT SIEFERT

Mr. Siefert, my father's best friend and life long friend of the family, lost his battle this week. Please remember his five daughters, wife Betty and numerous grandchildren and friends in your prayers. He loved his family , his dog , Michigan and Purdue football, he liked playing golf, he liked his sandwiches plain, he loved Christmas, he had a big laugh and a big heart. Most of all , he was a true friend my father, and for that, I am very grateful. Mr. Siefert, you will be missed.
